Mahindra First Choice Services inaugurates Franchisee workshop in Ahmednagar

January 30, 2015, Ahmednagar: Mahindra First Choice Services (MFCS), India’s leading chain of multi-brand car workshops, has expanded its all India network to 51 workshops with the inauguration of its 1st Franchisee Owned Franchisee Operated (FOFO) workshop at Ahmednagar. The workshop is located at Survey No. 189, B/H New Age Fuel World, Opposite MIDC Police Station, Nagar Manmad Road, MIDC, Ahmednagar. Currently, the company successfully operates 13 workshops in Maharashtra. The company established in 2008, pioneered the concept of multi-brand car workshops by opening its own workshops across the country. At present, it has 50 workshops, including 29 company-owned across the country. The 50th workshop was launched recently in Red Hills, Chennai. The company’s goal is to have 500 workshops by 2018. The investment in this fast growing business of Mahindra Group would be Rs 250 crore by 2018. MFCS’s scale of business with various spare parts suppliers helps the customer to save almost 10 to 20 percent on car service jobs. 2.5 lakh cars have been serviced by the company so far since inception. Mr. Hemchandra Sawant, Regional Manager (West) – Mahindra First Choice Services, inaugurated the new workshop. The new workshop will offer quality services to car owners through skilled technicians, quality spare parts, state-of-the art equipment, robust processes, free pick up and drop facility and an opportunity to book services online. “With its large car population and a strong response from our existing customers and franchise partners, Ahmednagar was the logical choice for us to strengthen our workshop network in Maharashtra. We already have a strong presence in Maharashtra with 8 Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) workshops and 5 Franchisee Owned Franchisee Operated (FOFO) workshop.” said Mr. Sawant. “Our business model for franchisees has received a strong response across the country and our customers find good value in the attractive combination of good quality, speedy delivery and saving on service costs.
